Nails for framing and roofing nailers

One of the primary application areas for nail guns is first fix or framing work, building load-bearing constructions or roofing applications. In these situations, laws and regulations define which nail to use. This can depend on if the nail is going to be exposed outdoors or if it is going to be under a roof, protected from rain, wind, snow, ice and other adverse weather.

What kinds of nails are available?

At Rapid, we provide nails with two types of coating - Bright Basic and Hot Dip Galvanized.

  • Bright Basic nails are intended for indoor use, comply with construction product regulations and have service class 1.
  • Hot Dip Galvanized nails are treated and coated to withstand being exposed to an outdoor environment. These nails comply with construction product regulations and have service class 3.

It's important to note that the type of nail that you need to use when doing a construction job varies from country to country.
